Development of an innovative foaming technology for plastics with unique functional properties
The aim of the project is to develop an innovative method of production of modernised EPP material by foaming. The project will conduct research on the methodology of polypropylene foaming with CO2, the use of regranulate from used EPP fittings in the production process and work on increasing the scale of the described manufacturing processes. The project will develop an original and innovative formula of a foaming blank, thanks to which the new material will have more favourable features and functional parameters. Finally, the innovative technology developed will allow the development and subsequent implementation of innovative products – details from EPP for automotive applications, especially in electric cars.
